Camp Sladdin offers a versatile, well-equipped camp environment designed to support Scout groups, schools, community organisations, and outdoor programmes of all kinds. Set within the Clevedon Scenic Reserve, the camp provides a balance of indoor facilities and open outdoor space, allowing groups to tailor their stay to their needs.
Indoor Facilities
The main lodge is designed for group use, learning, and shared meals, with a clear layout that supports both day and overnight bookings.
Facilities include:
- Large main hall, suitable for group activities, briefings, workshops, and dining
- Additional hall space: that can be used for breakout sessions, sleeping, or programme delivery
- Commercial-style kitchen with bench space and facilities for group catering
- Unisex bathrooms with multiple showers and toilets
- Accessible toilet and access ramp, supporting inclusive use of the site
- Covered verandah and deck areas, providing sheltered outdoor space for activities and dishes
- Covered loading area, making arrivals, departures, and equipment transport easy in all weather
The building layout allows for flexible group use, with clear access routes and separation between activity, sleeping, and service area.
Outdoor and Tent Camping Space
In addition to indoor accommodation and programme spaces, Camp Sladdin offers ample outdoor areas suitable for tent camping. Groups are welcome to pitch tents on designated grassed areas near the main facilities, allowing for a classic camp experience alongside access to toilets, showers, and the kitchen.
